Yesterday, State Capitol Police officers responded to a bank robbery at SECU on N. Salisbury St. shortly before noon. Raleigh Police investigated on scene and State Capitol Police officers later arrested the suspect around Edenton St. near East St. around 12:40 p.m. #WeAreNCDPS

Recently, staff from the Div. Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Court Svcs districts 28 and 29 participated in an outdoor adventure day. A total of 40 youths conquered their fears of heights and water during the event. They also learned about agriculture. #WeAreNCDPS

DPS staff from Prisons, Juvenile Justice & Highway Patrol ran with law enforcement from across the state Friday for the last leg of the Law Enforcement Torch Run for N.C. Special Olympics. The annual Torch Run raises funds for N.C. Special Olympics—more than $30 million to date.
