Furrs (also called Hoyle) is an unincorporated community in Pontotoc County, Mississippi.
Furrs had a post office and a population of 66 in 1900.

Per the
book Hometown Mississippi (1980), United States: Historical
& Genealogical Association of Mississippi, by James F. Brieger, Furrs
was named for Thomas Furr in 1859, a merchant who also operated the post
office.
